Minister Sam Kui was born and raised in Seattle, where he has lived his entire life. He grew up attending the Evangelical Chinese Church of South King County (ECC SKC) and surrendered his life to Christ in 2008. In the summer of 2016, while attending ECC’s Youth Camp, he sensed God’s call to ministry.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Washington in 2021. During his college years, he began serving as a Youth Ministry Intern at ECC SKC and continued serving as a youth counselor for the next six years. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Theological Studies (MATS) at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

In August 2026, he entered full-time ministry as the Youth Director at ECC’s Redmond Campus. He is honored and grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside the next generation, helping them grow as disciples of Christ and equipping them to become future leaders in God’s kingdom.
