Graceful Farewell
Pastor Caleb Lau
First, I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Evangelical Chinese Church, especially brothers, sisters, and co-workers from the Redmond Mandarin congregation, for your support, forgiveness, and care over the past 11 years. You have been an essential part of our lives, and we are grateful for the many moments we have shared together, both joyous and sorrowful. Your love and care have warmed and given us the strength and courage to undertake ministry responsibilities.
We are leaving with inevitable reluctance and sadness, but also with beautiful memories. Although we are about to go our separate ways, my heart is full of prayers and blessings for you. May God bestow grace in every area of your lives, protect you, and guide your steps. In this world of changes, may you trust God firmly, keep your faith, and testify His grace with love and good deeds.
I would like to encourage us all with a verse from the Bible, Isaiah 41:13: "For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you: Do not fear, I will help you." This verse reminds us that no matter what challenges we face ahead, God is with us. He will firmly support us, providing strength and grace.
Finally, I hope that you can continue to love each other in this church and strive to be witnesses to God's kingdom. May your journey of faith be filled with joy, peace, and blessings.
Thank you for the precious moments you have given us. May God bless you every day of your lives. His love be with you until we meet again.
