Pastor Solomon Liu serves at ECC as a pastor in the English Ministries. Pastor Solomon grew up in a pastoral family where he was dedicated by his parents at birth to serve God full-time. He personally received God’s calling to become a pastor at the age of 16.

Pastor Solomon received his degree in Youth Pastoral Ministries at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois. He went on to earn his Masters of Divinity degree at Multnomah Biblical Seminary in Portland, Oregon.

While he was studying in Portland, he interned at Chinese Evangelical Church of Portland. It was there he met his wife, Julie. They were married in 1997. They now have five lovely daughters.

Upon graduation from Multnomah, Pastor Solomon returned to his home church, Seattle Formosan Christian Church, where he served as the Pastor of English Ministries for over eight years.

As God stirred the passion to keep growing and learning, Pastor Solomon felt God begin to guide him to join the ECC pastoral staff. He considers it a privilege to work with a team of pastors as he strives to preach God’s Word and equip the believers at ECC.
