Suggestions For Parents

Before Class
  • Establish ground rules
  • Take child to restroom
  • Encourage your child to be on time, and to establish the habit of bringing their Bible along with gift of offering to God
After Class
  • Talk about worship at home
     
  • Reflect on and discuss your child worship and class participation
     
  • Have a family devotion and utilize the verses in home life
Registration Form
One form needs to be filled out for every child. The information on the form helps us more effectively minister to your child (i.e., special needs, allergies, likes & dislikes).

 
Healthy & Safe Environment
In order to minister to your child in a healthy and safe environment, please do not bring child if he/she has
  • Symptoms of contagious illness
     
  • Had exposure to or is carrying a communicable disease (chicken pox, impetigo, lice, pink eye, etc.)

A comfort area is available during Sunday service time at the basement of sanctuary. The section is reserved for parents with infants who need soothing. The video monitor is provided so parents can still participate in the Worship.

 

Suggestions For Congregation

  • Children are the future leaders of our church. Please help them feel welcome.
  • Please greet the children as well as their parents.
     
  • Please lower your eye level when you talk with children.
     
  • Be understanding if a parent needs to take their child out when this is Family Worship.
     
  • Compliment children who have listened attentively during the service.
     
  • Reserve comments until understand the situation is clear.
     
  • Forward your concerns to the Children Ministry department.
